The biggest storylines for that game were the success of coach Deion Sanders and the Heisman-like performances from QB Shedeur Sanders and WR/CB Travis Hunter.
Sanders threw for a school-record 510 yards (38-of-47) and 4 TDs. Hunter played 120 total snaps while making an impact on both offense and defense. He had 11 receptions for 119 yards and a key goal-line INT. The Buffaloes had 4 receivers go for 100-plus receiving yards.
