Williams runs for 4 TDs; N. Iowa beats Missouri St. 41-20
CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (AP) — Dom Williams ran for 101 yards and a career-high 4 touchdowns on 17 carries to assist Northern Iowa beat Missouri State 41-20 Saturday night time.
Williams scored on a 9-yard run lower than a minute into the sport and his 1-yard landing gave Northern Iowa (4-4, 3-2 Missouri Valley) a 14-0 lead with 6:40 left within the first quarter. Williams added a 2-yard landing halfway by way of the third quarter and his 10-yard scoring run on the primary play of the fourth quarter made it 38-14.
Jason Shelley accomplished 16 of twenty-two passes for 151 yards with a landing and an interceptions for Missouri State (2-5, 0-4). Jacardia Wright scored on a 6-yard run within the fourth quarter.
