Watch a Fireball that Left a Trail of Smoke Over Missouri Friday
It was a quite lively evening for meteors over Missouri. A time-lapse video exhibits many fireballs that streaked throughout the sky. One even left a path of smoke.
Dan Bush of Missouri Skies YouTube channel simply shared this video that was captured at roughly 2:52 am Friday, September 30, 2022. Observe that there’s one main fireball at the start that leaves a path of smoke, then watch carefully and you will see not less than a half dozen different area rocks streak throughout the sky.
Here is a snapshot of the smoke path from the most important meteor proven in Dan’s video.
To this point, I have never seen some other movies or stories of those objects on the American Meteor Society web site, however which will have extra to do with the truth that they occurred fairly actually in the course of the evening.
On September 25, 2022, there was one other meteor that was reported by dozens in each Missouri and Illinois and different Midwestern states.
It might be these area rocks are a part of the Orionid meteor bathe that usually is not seen till later in October. The American Meteor Society web site exhibits that is lively now although as are the Taurids.
