Two northern Missouri teens injured in Friday night accident
Two northern Missouri teens were taken to the hospital late Friday night, after a single-vehicle rollover crash in Putnam County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the crash happened at 11:40 Friday night on State Highway T, approximately 5 miles east of Powersville, and just south of the Iowa border.
According to the report, a 17-year-old girl from Lucerne, was traveling south on Highway T, when the vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway and overturned, before coming to a rest on its top.
Riding in the car, was a 15-year-old girl from Powersville.
Both teens sustained minor injuries and were taken to Wayne County Hospital in Iowa for treatment.
According to the report, both teens were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
