DNR to hold awareness session on proposed landfill expansion in Cole County

JEFFERSON CITY – The Missouri Division of Pure Sources introduced Wednesday it would maintain a public consciousness session in February to elucidate the allowing course of for sanitary landfills. 

Republic Providers has proposed an growth to its sanitary landfill in Cole County. The proposed web site is positioned 5605 Moreau River Entry Street in Jefferson Metropolis, which is about 6.5 miles northwest of U.S. Highways 50 and 63 intersections, in response to a press launch from the DNR.

The session will start at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 8 on the division’s convention middle, 1730 E. Elm Road in Jefferson Metropolis.
