U.S. Under-18 Women’s national team features 10 with ties to Minnesota
Ten gamers with ties to Minnesota had been named to the 2022 U.S. Below-18 Ladies’s nationwide staff, which can compete on the IIHF championship from June 6-13 in Madison, Wis.
Minnesotans embody forwards Danielle Burgen (Lindstrom), Claire Enright (Lakeville), Madison Kaiser (Andover), Ava Lindsay (Minnetonka) and Josie St. Martin (Stillwater); defenseman Emma Peschel (Edina); and goalie Sedona Blaire (Eden Prairie).
Shattuck-St. Mary’s gamers Maggie Scannell (Wynantskill, N.Y.) and Sydney Morrow (Darien, Conn.), together with Gentry Academy’s Jenessa Gazdik (Somerset, Wis.) spherical out the Minnesota connections.
The staff started practising Monday on the Nationwide Sports activities Middle in Blaine.
