Minnesota Aurora stays unbeaten with 4-0 win over Chicago City

The Minnesota Aurora FC remained unbeaten in its inaugural USL W League season with a 4-0 victory over Chicago Metropolis SC on Sunday at TCO Stadium.

Sangmin Cha scored within the first half to offer Aurora a 1-0 lead at halftime.

Halfway by way of the second half, Morgan Stone transformed a penalty kick to make it 2-0. Maya Hansen scored within the seventy fifth minute and Shelby Hopeau scored within the 87th minute to shut out the scoring.

Kelsey Kaufusi assisted on two objectives for Aurora.

Aurora (4-0-1), which defeated Chicago Metropolis, 3-1, on June 10, will play at Chicago Metropolis (1-3) on Friday.

  • Former Gopher Angus Flanagan shot 10-under-par 61 within the closing spherical of the Tapemark Minnesota PGA Professional-Am at Southview Nation Membership to win the professional area by three photographs over second-round chief Trey Fessler, a local of St. Michael, Minn. Flanagan completed the match 16-under 197. Justin Smith received the novice area by six strokes after 68 for a 202 complete.
