The Southwest Christian Stars defeated Minneapolis 5-2 on Tuesday.
The visiting team took the lead early in the first period, with a goal from John Bebler. Ozzie Snodgrass and Henry Dake assisted.
Tate Hardacre scored early in the second period, assisted by Jared Greiner and Paul Hornor.
Midway through, Johnny Erhart scored a goal, assisted by Vinny Ferrara, making the score 2-1.
Paul Hornor increased the lead to 3-1 early in the third period, assisted by Owen Zick and Christian Greer.
Kaden Feltmann also made it 4-1 two minutes later, assisted by Jared Greiner.
Owen Zick then increased the lead to 5-1 four minutes later, assisted by Christian Greer.
Isaac Andersen narrowed the gap to 5-2 four minutes later, assisted by John Bebler.
The Stars have now won four straight home games.

Person found fatally shot inside car in Mill Ruins Park in Minneapolis, police say
A homicide investigation is underway after a person was found shot to death inside a car parked along the Mississippi River, the Minneapolis Park Police Department said.
Around 6:40 a.m. Sunday, officers from Minneapolis Park police and the city’s police department responded to a report of a body in a car at Mill Ruins Park. They found an adult with a fatal gunshot wound at the scene, as well as a firearm.
The Minneapolis Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating.
Police said the Hennepin County medical examiner will determine the manner and cause of death, as well as the person’s identity.

Teacher takes canoe trip to raise funds for students
