Shots fired on 1700 block of University Ave near U of M

MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) – Police responded to a report of pictures fired on the 1700 block of College Ave SE early Sunday, in line with a College of Minnesota SAFE-U emergency alert. The alert issued at 1:40 a.m. Sunday indicated the pictures fired occurred inside the final hour. 

The suspect car is described as a darkish grey, 4 door sedan.

The Minneapolis Police Division stories that for the reason that Spring of 2021, the MPD, College of Minnesota Police Division, Metropolis of Minneapolis licensing, allowing, and inspection have been working to deal with ongoing tenant points and an increase in crime on the 1700 block of College.
