Milwaukee County Jail vandal arrested; threw trash can at entry door

A 28-year-old Milwaukee man is in custody for allegedly smashing an entry door on the Milwaukee County Jail early Thursday, July 21. 

Officers with the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Workplace and Milwaukee Police Division shared details about this incident. They are saying shortly earlier than 1:30 a.m. Thursday, the person approached the entrance door of the Milwaukee County Jail and “rang” the intercom. When requested what enterprise he had on the facility, the person replied that he had no enterprise there, however demanded to be let in. After being informed the ability was closed except he had enterprise there, the person grew to become visibly irate, picked up a close-by trash can, and threw it into the entry door, shattering the glass. The person fled on foot.

The Milwaukee man was recognized through surveillance video – and positioned close to twenty eighth and Wisconsin a short while later. He was taken into custody – and booked on one misdemeanor rely of felony injury to property and 4 counts of misdemeanor bail leaping.
