Ohio man wanted for murder may have been on MTU campus

HOUGHTON, Mich. (WLUC) – Houghton-area regulation enforcement is alerting the group of a person who might have been on the campus of Michigan Tech College (MTU) this weekend.

46-year-old John Michael Ferry is needed by the Columbus Police Division in Ohio on homicide fees and might be harmful. The Columbus Division of Police shared this put up on its Fb on Nov. 28.

The Michigan Division of Corrections (MDOC) describes Ferry as being 6-foot tall and weighing 220 kilos. The MDOC provides that Ferry has seen scars on his left again and one on his proper hand.

Ferry has beforehand been banned from MTU’s campus. That ban stays in impact.

Public Security and Public Security Companies accomplished a sweep of campus early Monday morning and decided he was not on campus.

MTU asks that if you happen to see Ferry, don’t method him and name 911.

Ferry was beforehand sentenced in Houghton County for malicious destruction of fireside or police property try and an assault with intent to do nice bodily hurt lower than homicide try in 2017.
