Michigan’s Muslim-majority city council approves animal sacrifice for religious purposes

A Detroit-area metropolis on Tuesday voted to approve permitting residents to sacrifice animals at house for spiritual functions. 

The Hamtramck Metropolis Council, whose members are all Muslims, accredited the apply, 3-2, Tuesday.
