Michigan man dead after 2 motorcyclists crash near Ohio border
HILLSDALE COUNTY, MI – One man was killed and one other man was hospitalized Saturday evening after the 2 males crashed their bikes whereas driving close to the Michigan-Ohio border.
Michigan State Police responded to the deadly crash at 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Might 27, on Waldron Highway close to Territorial Highway, which is on the state borderline in Michigan’s Hillsdale County, in accordance with a tweet by MSP.
Witnesses on the scene stated the pair of motorcyclists have been touring south on Waldron and have been “driving reckless at excessive speeds,” in accordance with MSP. The 2 bikes left the roadway and crashed, police stated.
Neither of the lads have been sporting a helmet on the time of the crash, police stated.
Each motorcyclists have been taken to a close-by hospital to be handled for accidents from the crash. One man, a 69-year-old Hudson resident, died on Sunday morning from his accidents, police stated. The second driver, a 46-year-old man from Hudson, nonetheless stays within the hospital.
Police suspect alcohol was an element within the crash, in accordance with police.
Michigan State Police continues to be investigating the crash.
