GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – A Michigan father was struck and killed by a automobile when crossing the lanes of a freeway after his automobile ran out of fuel.
Michigan State Police state that the incident occurred on Thursday in Grand Rapids on US-131 at Rich Road.
The 49-year-old father from Grand Rapids exited his car when officers say it’s believed he ran out of fuel. The person was struck by a car that was going northbound when he was crossing the freeway lanes. He was pronounced lifeless on the scene.
