Kelly Van Wormer, State Regent of Michigan’s Daughters of the American Revolution, lately visited the Onagomingkway Chapter at a luncheon held in Munising on the Alger County Heritage Middle. Van Wormer of downstate Port Huron mentioned “Carrying on the Custom,” the mission of her three yr time period in workplace. This mission focuses on the significance of DAR’s three fundamental pillars of patriotism, schooling of youth and historic preservation. Regent Melissa Wilson of Marquette presents Van Wormer with a basket of items collected by chapter members from across the Higher Peninsula.
