DETROIT – The most important and most trendy cruise ship on the Nice Lakes will go to its first port of name in Michigan on Tuesday after its inaugural journey by the St. Lawrence Seaway.
The 665-foot Viking Octantis is scheduled to dock at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Could 3, on the Nicholson Terminal, 4105 W. Jefferson Ave. in Detroit. The ship will depart from there at 2 p.m. because it continues its first voyage – and the primary for Viking Cruises – on the Nice Lakes. It will likely be viewable because it comes into port, moors and because it departs. Parks alongside the Detroit River might be supreme locations to look at.
