East Lansing’s Miller, Okemos’ Masih make cut at Michigan Junior State Amateur

BIG RAPIDS, Mich. (WILX) – Michigan State incoming freshman golfer Drew Miller fired 1-over-73 in both of his stroke play rounds Monday at the 46th Michigan Junior State Amateur to end Monday above the cut line, tied for ninth.

Joining him above the cut line is rising Okemos senior Ian Masih, who carded 76 and 75′s in his two rounds Monday to finish tied for 20th at seven-over-par at Katke Golf Course at Ferris State University.

Miller’s East Lansing teammate Jack Drouare was also in the field, but missed out on the day’s cut after finishing 19-over-par.
