A police officer in Michigan has been charged with second-degree homicide, following a capturing of Patrick Lyoya that passed off on April 4.
Grand Rapids officer Christopher Schurr shot the unarmed Lyoya behind the top following a battle throughout a visitors cease. Kent County Prosecutor Chris Becker mentioned Schurr has turned himself in and will probably be arraigned tomorrow.
Schurr fired the deadly shot whereas Lyoya was on the bottom, demanding that the refugee from Congo “let go” of the officer’s Taser.
Schurr advised Lyoya that he stopped his automobile as a result of the license plate did not match the automobile. Lyoya started to run after he was requested to supply a driver’s license.
