Man beaten, stabbed on Chicago transit in third violent attack in as many days

A 26-year-old man was attacked and stabbed by a gaggle at a downtown CTA station Wednesday evening in what was the third assault on CTA in as many days.

The sufferer had been standing on the CTA “L” platform on the Cermak/ McCormick Place Inexperienced Line station when a gaggle of three approached him and demanded his property.

The attackers managed to steal the sufferer’s property and the sufferer ran away from the group. It wasn’t till after the assault that the sufferer realized he had been injured and sought medical therapy at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He’s in good situation, in keeping with officers.
That is the third assault this week alone to happen at a CTA station.
