Gov. Laura Kelly signed Senate Invoice 3 on Friday, which designates Silvisaurus condrayi because the official state land fossil.

The Silvisaurus was “a one-ton armored ankylosaur roughly 13 ft lengthy that walked throughout Kansas through the late cretaceous interval of the Mesozoic period,” in keeping with the brand new statute.
