DOUGLAS COUNTY —A Kansas man drown whereas swimming Monday at a lake in Douglas County.

Simply after 6:30a.m., a boater notified deputies that they discovered a person unresponsive within the water at Lone Star Lake, based on a media launch from the Douglas County Sheriff’s workplace.

Investigators realized that an 81-year-old Lawrence man was a part of a bunch that often swims on the lake. He had damaged off from the group to return to shore and was discovered a short while later was positioned unresponsive within the water.
