Royals deal 3B Rivera to D-backs for RHP Weaver

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Royals traded third baseman Emmanuel Rivera to the Arizona Diamondbacks for right-hander Luke Weaver within the second minor transfer made by Kansas Metropolis on Monday so as to add organizational pitching depth.
