Police respond to double shooting Wednesday night in south Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Two people were injured in a shooting in south Kansas City, Missouri, on Wednesday night.

The shooting unfolded in the 5500 block of e 100th Terrace just before 8 p.m.

One person was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. A second victim suffered injuries considered to non-life-threatening, according to police.

There was no immediate word on what led to the gunfire.
