WINFIELD, Kan. (WIBW) – With almost 1,300 new areas to intern the state’s veterans who’ve handed away, Gov. Kelly stated the brand new columbarium wall on the Kansas Veterans Cemetery in Winfield is to commemorate those that made the final word sacrifice.

Kansas Governor Laura Kelly says on Tuesday, June 14, – Flag Day – she joined the Kansas Fee on Veterans Affairs to commemorate the enlargement of the columbarium wall on the Kansas Veterans Cemetery in Winfield, 1208 N Faculty St.

With the dedication and ribbon-cutting, Gov. Kelly stated the Winfield Cemetery will proceed to have the ability to provide the columbarium wall choice for internments which can final a decade or extra.
