Kansas State travels to Boulder, Colorado to face the surging Buffaloes.

With a potent passing attack, can Shedeur Sanders and the Buffs offense take advantage of a Kansas State defense that grades out as quite poor. Colorado loves to pass, and this matchup gives us an opportunity to hit the player prop market to cash in.

Shedeur Sanders OVER 306.5 Passing Yards

This could be another monster outing for Sanders, who will face a Kansas State defense that is 88th in EPA/Pass and 102n in explosive pass defense. 

The Wildcats pass rush ranks bottom 10 in terms of pass rush grade, according to Pro Football Focus, which means Sanders may have time to sit in the pocket and dice up this K-State secondary. 

While this number seems high, the Buffs rank sixth in pass rate this season and will force the issue all game. 

He has gone over this total in three of five games, and this is a median outcome for a plus matchup. 

LaJohntay Wester OVER 56.5 Receiving Yards

Wester is the wide receiver I want to target in this matchup as he has emerged as the No. 2 pass catcher in this Buffaloes offense. 

He has at least seven targets in four of five games this season and has gone over this total in three of five games this season. 

A primary slot receiver, I can Wester is a matchup nightmare with his speed and a weak point of the K-State defense. 

I’m counting on the CU passing game, and Wester provides the most value relative to price.

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) -The Kansas Farm Bureau is bringing farmers together to talk about a new form of sustainable jet fuel.

Senior Director of Advocacy of the Kansas Farm Bureau, Ryan Flickner says that it is a team effort between farmers and the aviation industry.

“We invited and encouraged Delta Airlines to come out here. Let’s have this dialogue what works for the airline works for farmers and ranchers here on the ground in Kansas and can we form a mutual alliance or can we better understand where each other’s group is coming from,” Flickner said.

Flickner says that even while in its early stages, the partnership is set to impact farmers who contribute in the form of tax credit.

“This renewable fuels drive and a sustainable aviation fuel, It’s so new and it’s in it’s infancy again we’re waiting for IRS rules and regulations… the ultimate shareholder goal to drive a more renewable or sustainable jet fuel source.”

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Origin Hotel on the Berkley Riverfront has opened its doors.

The 118-room boutique hotel is located just west of CPKC Stadium, home of the Kansas City Current.

“We are excited to be bringing a completely new experience to the Kansas City market,” Jacob Van Winkle, president of Tandem Hospitality, said in a news release.

Part of the “authentic immersion” promised to guests includes Show Pony, the hotel’s on-site restaurant.

Set to open later this month, Show Pony is said to provide an “Americana-inspired dining experience.”

Origin guests can tailor their stay to their interests with “curated in-room enhancements.”

Fur parents may be interested in the package that includes a pass to Bar K while families may opt-in to the adventure kit for kids, which comes with sleeping bags and a starry night light.

There’s also an in-room yoga kit available for anyone looking to workout solo rather than at the “state-of-the-art fitness studio.”

Guests looking to take advantage of being “at the heart of the action, with easy access to the city’s most celebrated landmarks,” can roam KC using the hotel’s complimentary bike rentals. Access to the streetcar is also nearby in the River Market.

Throughout the property, local artists and KC-inspired designs will be featured in areas such as the hotel’s “grand fountain” at the entrance and the Charlie Hustle retail store.

Additionally, the hotel boasts it offers 4,800 square feet of meeting and event space across five “unique and versatile venues” — Berkley Ballroom; Two Birds, One Stone (beer garden); Moonstone (indoor/outdoor space); Emanuel Cleaver II Riverview Room; Port KC Private Dining Room.

The Origin, a Wyndham Hotel, is owned by The Thrash Group and operated by Tandem Hospitality Group.
