Kansas City woman involved in police chase crashes passenger car off I-70

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) – The Kansas Highway Patrol says one person was injured after crashing on I-70 following a police chase.

The crash happened around 9:06 p.m. on Sept. 13 on I-70 at 65th Street.

According to KHP, 24-year-old Dameshia Harlin of Kansas City, Missouri, was running from police on westbound I-70 when she lost control of her Chevrolet passenger car. She drove off the left side of the road and hit a bridge pillar before coming to a stop.

Harlin was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt and is believed to have serious injuries. She was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
