Injured snowy owl rescued in NW Kansas
LANE COUNTY, Kan. (KWCH) – It was a uncommon sight in Lane County on Sunday as a sport warden and sheriff’s workplace tended to an injured snowy owl. It was the primary documentation of a snowy owl in Lane County.
Sport Warden Angie Reisch reportedly crawled below a barbed wire fence and chased after the owl on the bottom. After being caught, she contacted Carrie’s Rehab Critters for help. She then drove the injured chook greater than 2 1/2 hours one strategy to Hill Metropolis so the owl may obtain additional care.
