🏈 Phelps, Bryant Named to Associated Press All-Big 12 Team

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas was represented by a pair of Jayhawks on the Related Press All-Massive 12 Groups, with cornerback Cobee Bryant and defensive finish Lonnie Phelps incomes a spot on the second crew. The AP introduced the postseason honors on Friday.

The honors come after each gamers have been named to the All-Massive 12 Coaches groups on Nov. 30. Bryant was named All-Massive 12 First Crew by the Massive 12 Coaches, whereas Phelps was named All-Massive 12 Second Crew by the league coaches.

Bryant, a sophomore from Evergreen, Alabama, has had a breakout second season with the Jayhawks, main the crew with three interceptions for 86 return yards and a game-clinching landing at West Virginia on Sept. 10. Bryant additionally had the sixth-most passes defended within the Massive 12, together with a career-high 34 tackles and a pressured fumble on the season.
