Taunton High School Wrestler Christian Balmain Commits to Iowa Lakes Community College

TAUNTON — Superintendent John Cabral and Athletic Director Mark Ottavianelli are happy to announce that Taunton Excessive Faculty wrestler Christian Balmain has dedicated to wrestling on the collegiate degree within the fall.

Within the fall of 2022, senior Balmain shall be attending Iowa Lakes Group School in Estherville, Iowa, to pursue wrestling on the collegiate degree. He obtained an athletic scholarship from the faculty for wrestling.

Balmain has been wresting for the previous 5 years at Taunton Excessive Faculty. Throughout that point, he gained 122 of the 183 (67%) wrestling matches he participated in. Balmain has 63 pins, 233 takedowns, 58 escapes and 30 reversals. In whole, he earned 576 workforce factors for the Taunton Excessive Faculty wrestling workforce.
