Police: Iowa woman dies after being shot while calling 911
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (AP) — A 23-year-old Sioux Metropolis man has been charged within the dying of a lady who was shot whereas she was calling an emergency dispatcher.
A prison criticism says Sarah Zoelle referred to as 911 Saturday evening and was pleading for assist, saying her boyfriend, Austyn Self, was pointing a gun at her. The criticism says the 911 dispatcher then heard what appeared like a gunshot.
Officers say Zoelle was holding a 6-month-old little one in her arms after they discovered her affected by a gunshot wound. She died later at a hospital. Two different younger kids have been in the home.
