North Linn beats West Fork, Iowa City Regina holds off Pella Christian to advance to state

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – The North Linn and Iowa City Regina boys basketball teams both secured substate final victories on Saturday to advance to the state tournament.

The Lynx are off to their eighth state tournament in a row after a 73-59 win over West Fork. With the win, North Linn sits 23-1 on the season. They’re looking to win their third state title.

The Regals held off a tough Pella Christian team winning 64-59 to advance to their first state tournament since 2019. Iowa City Regina will bring a 17-6 overall record into Wells Fargo Arena.
