Iowa’s punter named B1G Special Teams Player of the Week

IOWA CITY — College of Iowa junior punter Tory Taylor has been named Massive Ten Particular Groups Participant of the Week following Iowa’s 7-3 win over South Dakota State on Saturday afternoon.

Taylor performed a key position for the Hawkeyes of their season-opening win. He averaged 47.9 yards on a career-high 10 punts, with seven punts contained in the 20. Six of his punts had been downed contained in the 12-yard line and three had been 50 yards or longer.
