Iowa Wraps Up Williams Cup
WILMINGTON, N.C. – The College of Iowa males’s golf staff positioned 10th on the Williams Cup on Sunday. Sophomore Ian Meyer and senior Mac McClear secured top-25 finishes at Eagle Level Golf Membership.
Meyer shot 76 (+4) on Sunday to tie for 21st on the leaderboard at 226 (+10) by way of 54 holes. He led Iowa with 10 birdies on the week, together with two within the remaining spherical.
McClear moved six spots up the leaderboard on Sunday to tie for twenty-fourth on the Williams Cup. McClear shot the low Hawkeye third spherical rating of 75 (+3) to safe his fifth top-25 end in as many occasions this fall.
