Feenstra is projected winner in Iowa’s 4th District – Iowa Capital Dispatch

Rep. Randy Feenstra is projected by the Related Press to win a second time period within the U.S. Home of Representatives with 73.8% of the vote over Democratic challenger Ryan Melton, based mostly on unofficial outcomes. 

The race was known as with 41% of precincts reporting , about 10 p.m. Tuesday. Melton had 24.3% of the vote and Liberty Caucus candidate Bryan Jack Holder had 1.9%.

Feenstra will proceed to characterize Iowa’s newly drawn 4th District within the northwestern portion of the state. He unseated former Rep. The Democrat to carry the 4th District seat was Neal Smith from 1973 till 1995.
