Eastern Iowa Airport announces service to new destination

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – The Japanese Iowa Airport is including continuous service to Washington, D.C.’s DCA airport beginning on June 1 via American Airways.

Marty Lenss, the Director of the Japanese Iowa Airport, made the announcement Friday morning throughout a press convention alongside Cedar Rapids Mayor Tiffany O’Donnell and Metropolis Supervisor Jeff Pomeranz.

Lenss mentioned including the vacation spot was a piece in progress for many years.

Individuals can start reserving tickets beginning on Saturday.
