Director of the Iowa Department of Veterans Affairs leaves office
Iowa Division of Veterans Affairs Government Director Steve Lukan has resigned, Gov. Kim Reynolds introduced Friday afternoon.
Lukan is a U.S. Navy veteran. He represented elements of Dubuque County within the Iowa Home from 2003 to 2012, then was appointed by Gov. Terry Branstad to guide the Iowa Workplace of Drug Management Coverage. Reynolds appointed him in 2017 to go the Division of Veterans Affairs.
Lukan left to pursue a job within the non-public sector, based on a information launch.
