DCI Assists Worth County in Death Investigation

Value County, Iowa – On 9/16/2022, a feminine physique was discovered within the Shell Rock River close to 390th St and Raven Ave. The physique recovered was recognized as Melissa Jo Olson, age 45, of Northwood. The incident is being investigated by the Value County Sheriff’s Workplace and Iowa Division of Legal Investigation.  
 
The Value County Sheriff’s Workplace was assisted on the scene by the Iowa DNR, Iowa Division of Legal Investigation, Iowa State Patrol, Value County Emergency Administration, Mason Metropolis Fireplace Division, Kensett Fireplace Division, and Value County Secondary Roads. 

Legislation enforcement is searching for data from anybody who might have noticed Olson, a forty five yr outdated white feminine with brown hair, roughly 5 foot 6 inches tall, strolling within the space of Freeway 65 and alongside 390th Road, between Manly and Northwood on Thursday, September 15 and into the morning hours of Friday, September 16.
