“Come on people!! Speed kills!!” Iowa sheriff urges cautious driving amid thick fog

BREMER COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG) – The Bremer County Sheriff’s Workplace is urging folks to decelerate amid the foggy Monday morning circumstances.

In a Fb submit, the sheriff’s workplace shared a picture taken after having pulled over a pickup truck that was clocked at 111 mph.

“Going 111mph in thick fog can kill!! Fortunately we received this one stopped earlier than somebody was probably injured or killed!! You may’t see greater than a 100 yards out right here within the fog,” the sheriff’s workplace wrote within the submit. “Do you suppose this driver would have the time wanted to decelerate as soon as they noticed taillights or another object at 111mph?”

The submit comes after one individual died in a crash in Bremer County on Sunday.
