Amelon Earns Iowa’s Big Ten Sportsmanship Award

IOWA CITY, Iowa – College of Iowa fifth-year senior Jordan Amelon has been named the staff’s Massive Ten Sportsmanship Award recipient, it was introduced Wednesday by the league workplace.

The award is offered to student-athletes who show good sportsmanship and moral conduct, are in good tutorial standing and display good citizenship outdoors of athletics. The glory is the primary of Amelon’s profession.

The Iowa Metropolis, Iowa, native competed in 10 tournaments through the 2022-23 season, posting a 78.61 scoring common over 29.5 rounds. Amelon tied for fortieth eventually week’s Massive Ten Championship, ending with a 229 (75-80-74) complete in Pittsburgh.
