Woman shot Lafayette Road died Saturday, IMPD says

A lady shot final week on the far northwest aspect of Indianapolis has since died from her accidents, police mentioned Monday evening.

The girl was shot at what police imagine to be a residence within the 8100 block of Lafayette Street shortly after 2:40 a.m. April 14, in keeping with Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Officer William Younger. Officers responding to a report of a capturing discovered the girl affected by a gunshot wound.

The girl was taken to the hospital in essential situation on the time. She died Saturday, Younger mentioned, and murder detectives took over the investigation. Police didn’t say whether or not anybody was arrested within the case.
