The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have brought back offensive tackle Jordan Murray after a stint in the NFL.

The 26-year-old spent all of last season on the practice squad of the Indianapolis Colts. He was signed to a reserve/futures contract in January to stay with the team another season but was waived on August 1, 2023, and has been a free agent for the last month.

Murray started nine regular season games and two playoff games at both tackle positions for the Ticats in 2021. The six-foot-nine, 330-pound native of Coppell, Tex. originally signed with Hamilton on July 19, 2021.

Prior to joining Hamilton, the University of North Texas product attended rookie minicamp with the Seattle Seahawks in 2019. He also captured a championship in The Spring League with The Generals in 2020.

The Ticats (4-6) are slated to host the Toronto Argonauts (8-1) on Monday, September 4.
