LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WISH) — Three teenagers reported lacking from Indianapolis crashed in Lafayette after a police chase, in response to Indiana State Police.

Based on state police, three teenagers had been reported lacking from Indianapolis on Tuesday.

Simply after 3 a.m. Wednesday, a state police trooper was patrolling I-65 close to exit 172 in Lafayette.

The trooper tried to cease a automotive for a number of visitors violations. The automotive fled northbound on I-65.

The trooper pursued the automotive till exit 175.

The automotive ran off the east facet of the highway and drove parallel with I-65. The automotive then ran off an embankment, landed on the southbound lanes of State Highway 25 and hit one other embankment on the north facet of State Highway 25.

The car then rolled over advert stopped in a ditch north of State Highway 25 and east of I-69.

All three teenagers had been taken to a neighborhood hospital.

After state police completes their investigation, the Tippecanoe County Prosecutor’s Workplace will decide what fees shall be filed.
