Shots fired during robbery at Anderson Walmart, no one injured

ANDERSON — Anderson Police are investigating after two 18-year-olds have been shot at by a suspect whereas they have been loading groceries into their automotive.

The incident occurred simply earlier than 5 p.m. within the Walmart car parking zone on Charles Road.

Police say the 2 have been approached by a person making an attempt to promote them sweet and stated he wanted cash for his sick daughter.

The 2 gave the person some cash and continued to place groceries away.

Police say a couple of minutes later, the identical man got here again with a gun and demanded all of their cash.

“A number of” gunshots have been fired and the suspect left the scene with an undisclosed sum of money. Nobody was injured.
