Man dies after Friday night shooting on Indianapolis’ east side

INDIANAPOLIS — One man has died after he was shot Friday evening in Indianapolis, in response to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Division.

Officers responded to the 4500 block of E. Washington Road round 9 p.m. and located the person.

He was taken to the hospital in vital situation however died shortly after, police stated.

His id has not been launched.
