Man charged for July homicide on city’s southeast side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — An Indianapolis man faces fees for a July murder on town’s southeast facet.

Najee Givens, 33, was charged Friday with homicide, in accordance with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Division.

Givens is accused of fatally taking pictures 25-year-old Timothy Rucker on July 17 at a house within the 5000 block of Padre Lane. That’s a residential space close to the intersection of Emerson Avenue and Thompson Highway.

On Saturday, the Marion County Sheriff’s Workplace served Givens on his arrest warrant for his function in Rucker’s dying. Givens was already in jail on an unrelated offense.
