Indianapolis trash, recycling pickup on slide schedule due to holiday
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Labor Day vacation will change the schedule for trash and recycling pickup in Indianapolis.
Monday is a metropolis vacation and a strong waste vacation, that means that curbside recycling, residential trash, and heavy trash service will function on a slide schedule, in keeping with the Indianapolis Division of Public Works.
All three companies will slide ahead someday after the vacation.
The slide schedule is as follows:
- Residents with regular pickup on Monday can have service Tuesday
- Residents with regular pickup on Tuesday can have service Wednesday
- Residents with regular pickup on Wednesday can have service Thursday
- Residents with regular pickup on Thursday can have service Friday
- Residents with regular pickup on Friday can have service Saturday
All strong waste companies will return to regular on Monday, Sept. 12.
