FISHERS, Ind. (AP) — The Indianapolis suburb of Fishers is luring the Indy Gas minor league hockey crew to the town with a deliberate 8,500-seat area, officers introduced Wednesday.

The brand new area could be a key a part of a $550 million venture deliberate by Indianapolis-based Thompson Thrift Improvement for resort, flats, retail and workplace house alongside Interstate 69, a couple of miles north of Interstate 465.

The Indy Gas, an affiliate of the NHL’s Chicago Blackhawks, has been taking part in its residence video games on the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis because it started play in 2014. Plans name for the crew to maneuver to the brand new area for the 2024-25 season.
