The Better Indianapolis NAACP will maintain its remaining assembly of the yr Dec. 1 at 6:30 p.m. on Zoom to spotlight this yr’s accomplishments for racial justice and civil rights. Listed here are a few of the NAACP’s 2022 accomplishments. 

Indiana Black Tutorial Excellence Plan 

In April, Indiana NAACP leaders launched the Indiana Black Tutorial Excellence Plan which outlines 4 steps and 15 methods for pupil success. The group met with college superintendents, the Indiana Division of Schooling and legislators to coach them on the necessity to implement the plan and obtain instructional fairness.

Police Reform and Enhancing Public Security

Each Neighborhood Hospital and Indiana College Well being have continued to work with the NAACP in fairness and inclusion efforts.
