INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A person is lifeless after a hit-and-run Saturday night on town’s close to north facet and his demise was being investigated as a murder, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Division says.

At 4:14 p.m. Saturday, IMPD was dispatched to a report of a pedestrian struck at West sixteenth Avenue at Capitol Avenue and positioned a person simply east of the intersection. The hit-and-run occurred subsequent to the development of the brand new Indiana Well being Methodist Hospital.

Medics arrived and pronounced the person lifeless on the scene.
