CURVE WIN, INDIANAPOLIS ROUTED AS REHAB ASSIGNMENTS CONTINUE

Down within the minor leagues, 4 pitchers for the Altoona Curve mixed for a two-hit shutout of the Harrisburg Senators 6-0 on Friday night time at PNG area.  It’s the second shutout win of the season for Altoona and the primary at house for this season.  Aaron Shortridge delivered 4 scoreless innings, permitting no hits and placing out three, adopted by a two-innings of hitless aid from Dillon Peters.  Duane Underwood, Jr., who’s on a rehab project, threw one hitless inning with two strikeouts.  Tyler Samaneigo received the 2 inning-save.

On the offensive facet, Andres Alvarez hit his 11th homer of the season, a two run shot within the second inning.  Within the seventh inning, the Curve had 5 hits and scored 4 extra runs.  The six-game sequence between the Curve and the Senators continues tonight at 6:00.  Aaron Shortridge will begin for the Curve, and Ronald Herrera will begin for Harrisburg.

On the Triple-A stage, Yoshi Tsustugo continues his rehab project with Indianapolis and hit a two-run homer because the DH, however Indianapolis misplaced to Nashville 13-4.  Additionally, Kevin Newman was 3-5 with an RBI through the sport.
